Sandra De Freitas is the a top tech coach and founder of WPBlogsites.com and TechCoachForCoaches.com, two successful coaching, consulting and training firms. She is also the author of the book “Does This Blogsite Make My Wallet Look Fat? How to use a WordPress Blogsite to make money, attract clients and gain expert celebrity status”.Sandra specializes in WordPress blogsites and extending their functionality with exceptional WordPress plugins such as WishList Member. Sandra is WishList Member Certified. Sandra’s team offers a combination of technology, business and creative skills and expertise to support business owners with their online business.

WP Technicians/Designers and Wishlist/Optimize Press Specialists

The key objective of this role is to design and develop customized blogsites according to the high-standards of Sandra’s clients. You are responsible for creating professional and functional blogsites in a timely manner and with a high level of accuracy.

Specific Responsibilities:

note: we do not expect each individual to have all of these skills

      • Create WorPress blogsites from inception to completion according to the brand requirements of the client
      • Design WordPress themes from scratch
      • Customize WordPress themese as needed
      • Install and customize WishList Member
      • Install and customize Optimize Press

The Ideal Person for this role:

      • Expertise in everything to do with WordPress and WishList
      • Expertise in designing WordPress themes from scratch
      • Expertise in CSS, PHP and HTML and customizing WordPress themes
      • Detail oriented with a perfectionist streak – a high level of accuracy is a must in this role
      • Driven to complete tasks in a timely manner
      • A stringent “designer’s eye” for meeting brand requirements when creating blogsites
      • A solid understanding of online marketing strategies and trends
      • An understanding of retail and local marketing is helpful

Commitment: This is an ongoing contract position. Availability on Monday to Friday from 11am Eastern to 5pm Eastern is requested for communication about projects (these hours are not required to be filled with tasks). Projects can be completed according to your schedule, as long as deadlines are met. Work on evenings and weekends is not typically required, nor expected, but may be requested from time to time in order to meet client deadlines.

This is a virtually based position that requires you to have the equipment and capability to work from your own home office. Throughout the day, our team communicates via Skype IM. Familiarity with Skype is essential in this role along with being available to answer queries and provide updates to team members during the hours noted above. (Note: a separate project management tool is used to track the various tasks)

Compensation: Compensation varies according to the role.

Anticipated start date is April 1, 2012.

Graphic Designer

The key objective of the Graphic Designer is to support the team in creating graphic images from scratch, and revising existing images as required. Graphic images may include (but not limited to) new logos, banners, website images, and print work.
Specific Responsibilities:

      • Create graphic images, from inception to completion, that match the brand requirements of the clients
      • Edit/revise graphic images as required

The Ideal Person for this role:

      • Expertise in graphic design
      • Driven to complete tasks in a timely manner
      • A stringent “designer’s eye” for meeting the client’s design expectations
      • Ability to patiently go back and forth with clients to ensure the end result exceeds their expectations

Commitment: This is an ongoing contract position. Availability on Monday to Friday from 11am Eastern to 5pm Eastern is requested for communication about projects (these hours are not required to be filled with tasks). Projects can be completed according to your schedule, as long as deadlines are met.
